Job summary

A leading educational organization is searching for a Lecturer in Computing to teach at undergraduate levels as part of their BSc (Hons) Computing programme. Candidates are expected to have a Master's degree, UK HE lecturing experience, and extensive knowledge in areas such as programming and cybersecurity. The role involves developing course materials, assessing student work, and engaging in staff development activities. This position is on-site in Greenford or Stratford and offers a full-time contract with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a Master's degree in a relevant subject area, PhD desirable.
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience required.
• Extensive knowledge in programming, web development, database systems, cybersecurity, cloud computing, networking, and emerging technologies.
• Experience in supervising student work and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
• Develop and update course materials as appropriate.
• Engage in staff development and peer observations.
• Keep up to date with developments in the field and support practices.
