An educational institution in Ipswich seeks a Lecturer in Civil Engineering/Built Environment to teach Level 3–6 courses. Within the range £27,702 to £41,892 per annum* plus market forces payment up to £5,781 pro‑rata (dependent on qualifications and experience)
*Starting salary subject to college salary assessment process
35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (1 FTE)

We are seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Civil Engineering/Built Environment and are looking for industry professionals who can demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for Civil Engineering and the Built Environment and have the ability to encourage and inspire young people.
Required to teach on our Level 3–6 Civil Engineering and the Built Environment, you should have relevant up‑to‑date industry experience, supported by a relevant Degree or equivalent. There will also be an opportunity to help develop the curriculum for the new T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning and the occupational specialism of Civil Engineering/Built Environment which commenced in 2020. You should also have a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Maths and English, and a commitment to achieving a teaching qualification within a specified timeframe.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich campus; however, Suffolk New College is a multi‑campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
