Lecturer in Business Management

Part time, 29.6 hours per week

£41,064 to £46,049 per annum, pro rata

(actual salary – £32,851 to £36,839)

We are seeking a Lecturer in Business Management to teach modules across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Business School.

The successful candidate will have teaching experience in a business related discipline, with the capacity to contribute to one or more of the following specific areas: project management, entrepreneurship and innovation, academic skills, HR/Leadership, organisational behaviour, marketing or practical finance for business. Dissertation Supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels will be part of the role and experience in this area will be advantageous.

An interest in, and a capacity for, applied Research and/or Knowledge Exchange is desirable as well as a commitment to the successful employability of our students. Experience of module management is desirable.

The post holder will have the following qualities:

  • Experience of teaching management at undergraduate and post-graduate level, or in a professional environment
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work to deadlines and a team-player
  • Relevant industry or workplace-based experience and networks
