Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) invites applications for a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance to teach across undergraduate levels within the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. The role requires flexibility to teach weekdays, evenings and weekends and to support students across multiple delivery modes.

The successful candidate will hold a UK-recognised Master’s in Accounting & Finance (PhD desirable), plus UK HE lecturing experience delivering core modules such as Financial

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting and Finance (UK or equivalent) required; PhD desirable.
• UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Audit.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting/finance subject matter.
• Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
• Experience of accurate reporting and maintaining student records.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups.

Responsabilités

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work; ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate.
• Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials.
• Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and admin duties.
• Stay up to date with developments in the field and student support practices.
• Work toward defined objectives for attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.
