Job summary

UCL invites applications for a Lecturer/Associate Professor to lead an AI-driven research program in biomolecular design and interactions within SMB. The post is embedded in SMB’s activity, fostering collaborations between experimentalists and theoreticians, and shaping new research directions with translational potential.

The role includes developing an internationally competitive research agenda, teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contributing to the new cross-division MRes

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent qualification required.
• Proven experience in research-led teaching at undergraduate/postgraduate level.
• Track record in interdisciplinary collaboration and external engagement.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead AI-driven research in biomolecular design and interactions.
• Deliver teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including new cross-division modules.
• Contribute to securing research funding and building collaborative partnerships.
