Job description

Lecturer in Art & Photography

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of students' learning programmes as appropriate.

This is a temporary position based in Neath for approximately 17.25 paid teaching hours per week as follows:

• Monday AS Photography 9-11.30 GCSE Art & Design 12.30-4.30 = 6 hours
• Tuesday AS Photography 9-11.30 AS Photography 1.30-4pm = 4.5 hours
• Wednesday AS Photography 1.30-4pm = 2.25 hours
• Thursday AS Photography 9-11.30 A2 Photography 1.30-4pm = 4.5 hours

Candidates will have a teaching qualification, along with a level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in the subject area and have relevant experience. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent). With the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates must be IT literate equivalent to level 2.
