A leading educational institution in the UK is seeking a Lecturer in Sustainability to enhance their degree programmes in environmental sciences, with responsibilities including curriculum delivery and student employability. The successful candidate will hold a doctorate or equivalent and be dedicated to research and academic excellence. This role supports flexible working arrangements and emphasizes a commitment to diverse perspectives within the academic environment.
As a Lecturer in Sustainability, you will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of a key discipline within the field, such as environmental policy, climate change, or carbon management. Enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy, you will contribute to the delivery of several units, including programme management as required, across a range of degree programmes, particularly in sustainability and green economy, ecology and wildlife conservation, environmental sciences, and geography. You will be able to demonstrate appropriate pedagogical approaches for units delivered both face-to-face and online. You will also make a significant contribution to student employability and to professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations at regional, national, and international levels.
