Job summary

About the Role

Horizon Teachers is supporting a specialist SEN provision for adult learners with complex needs. Theyre looking for a committed Lecturer to deliver personalised, engaging programmes that promote independence, progress and confidence.

Youll plan and deliver high-quality learner-centred sessions, assess progress, lead small teaching teams, and work closely with therapists, carers and multi-disciplinary professionals. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating meaningful outcomes for vulnerable adult learners.

What Youll Do
  • Plan & deliver personalised SEN learning programmes
  • Track progress, set targets and assess development
  • Support learners with complex or challenging needs
  • Lead and supervise teaching teams and volunteers
  • Contribute to curriculum planning & staff training
  • Work collaboratively with carers, therapists and external agencies
What You Need
  • CertEd or willingness to work towards it
  • Level 2 English & Maths (or commitment to complete internally)
  • Recent experience supporting learners with SEN
  • Strong communication & behaviour support skills
  • Ability to plan, differentiate and lead teaching teams
  • A genuine passion for SEN and inclusive learning
