A prestigious university in the UK is looking for a Lecturer in Digital Marketing to develop and deliver high-quality teaching. The Marketing & Entrepreneurship Department has 36 staff specialising in marketing, entrepreneurship and business enterprise. It currently manages and delivers two popular undergraduate and BSc Digital Marketing programmes starting in 2026/2, as well as two postgraduate programmes. The Department also supports a range of programmes at all levels across the School and Aston University, delivering teaching primarily in Birmingham, but also at our Aston London Campus and through online programmes.
As part of our growth strategy, we have expanded our Digital Marketing related modules and programmes. We are therefore seeking to recruit a Lecturer with teaching and research specialism in Digital Marketing, who can also contribute to other modules taught in Marketing. The successful candidate will be inspirational, highly motivated and able to contribute to the development of the Department's research, teaching, citizenship and postgraduate research supervision.
We have a thriving teaching innovation and research culture. Core research areas include services marketing management, consumer behaviour and AI. We look for candidates with applied/empirical research skills, REF‐returnable work, a natural collaborator, and a hands‑on, can‑do attitude. The role includes leadership in securing external funding, research council income and impact generation.
