Job description

The role will involve preparing tools, equipment, and resources for students on study programs and apprenticeship standards. You will be required to monitor and lead on the supervision of workshops, including health and safety systems and processes. You will have a keen eye for general housekeeping procedures which sets high expectations for colleagues and students. You will work closely with the Curriculum and Standards Manager, Team Leaders and others in the team to establish a 'just in time' order process of materials and supplies.

A construction background is preferable, however not essential due to this being a non-teaching role. You will have strong work ethic and ideally, experience of construction practices. A desire to help the team and students and drive health and safety is also essential. You should be self‑motivated and able to work with young people in a supportive manner. You will have a flexible approach and be able to work as part of a team, supporting the quality of teaching and learning and working closely with teaching staff. You will be required to complete forklift training within one month of starting this role (unless you already hold a training certificate for this).

Salary: £24,347 per annum. Plus generous benefits including:
