A higher education institution in Liverpool is seeking a part-time Learning and Teaching Support Officer to enhance student engagement within the School of Medicine. This role involves delivering guidance interviews, supporting student welfare, and collaborating with support teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in student support and the ability to work effectively with diverse student backgrounds.
Working alongside two other Learning and Teaching Support Officers, you will support Teaching and Learning within the School of Medicine, enhancing student engagement and experience for our large student body. You will deliver guidance interviews for students, addressing issues such as absence, poor engagement, missed deadlines and incomplete placement e-Portfolios. You will also contribute to study skills support, advise on School and University procedures, and signpost students to other support and welfare services. The role also involves collaboration with the Schools Departmental Disability Coordinator and central Disability Support Team to support disabled students.
This post is permanent and part time (21 hours per week).
