What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensuring a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines.
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Keeping clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and progress.
  • Staying up to date with individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Putting the needs of each child first, adapting your approach to support their emotional and health needs.
What You'll Bring
  • Fully compliant with Social Care Wales
  • Previous experience within care or children's services or transferable skill role is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence (This is VITAL to the role)
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care/Children and young people desirable
  • Children safeguarding training is essential
