Job description

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Specialist Teacher to join a Secodary School from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a reflective practitioner with a passion for supporting young people to thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

The successful candidate will

  • Provide targeted support in Literacy and Mathematics for individuals and small groups, primarily at Key Stage 3.
  • Work collaboratively with subject teachers to monitor progress and set ambitious, personalised targets.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring students receive effective feedback that fosters growth.
  • Contribute positively to a collegial team culture, engaging fully in staff meetings, professional development, and whole-school initiatives.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including the extra-curricular programme.
