Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Learning Support Advisor for a centre-based role in Hemel Hempstead. The position offers full-time, permanent employment with a salary of £26,200 per year.

You will support tutors and learners, helping diverse individuals build confidence and achieve goals. The role requires Maths and English at grade C or equivalent, experience with SEND/ALN, knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Maths and English at grade C or equivalent (Functional Skills acceptable).
• Experience supporting learners with SEND / ALN.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and practical strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enrichment sessions and educational activities with Tutors and Learners.
• Support individuals and groups to maintain engagement with course materials and build self-confidence.
• Identify learner needs and create, review and maintain effective support plans.
• Create a positive learning environment and encourage personal development.
• Develop inspiring and creative learning activities and resources for diverse learners.
• Monitor wellbeing, engagement and progress through regular reviews.
