An education agency in the West Midlands is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to support autistic children within their Focus Provision. The successful candidate will work alongside teachers to facilitate learning through tailored resources and interventions. Flexibility and experience with autistic children are essential. The role offers ongoing training and represents a chance to be part of a dedicated team focused on improving educational outcomes.
Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of one of the schools in Smethwick for a Learning Support Practitioner to work across both schools within our Focus Provision for Autism.
You will be working with a range of children across the primary age range and need to be flexible and adaptable to each child\'s needs. It is vital that you have experience of working with autistic children, using a range of communication strategies and autism-specific approaches to teaching and learning.
Ongoing training and support will be given to successful candidates. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our newly reformed Focus Provision. We have dedicated Focus Provision classrooms, including sensory rooms in each school.
