They are seeking enthusiastic, proactive, and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join a dedicated team at a specialist Resource Base. Here, both staff and students are welcoming, and strong relationships form the foundation of everything they do. The provision supports young people aged 16–25, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and require personalised support to achieve their learning, social, and independence goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with everyday life skills, including meal preparation, shopping, managing money, washing clothes, and bed making
  • Provide personal care with dignity, sensitivity, and respect
  • Facilitate off‑site learning opportunities such as community visits and local trips
  • Help students make the most of our sensory room, supporting emotional regulation, calm, and communication
  • Celebrate achievements, encourage engagement, and work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to meet EHCP targets
