Job summary

Grace College in the North East of England is seeking two Learning Support Assistants to join our student support team on a term-time basis.

You will work under teachers to support learning, remove barriers to learning and help students achieve their personal best. The role includes a defined benefits pension, free parking, benefits hub access, and family-friendly policies.

About This Role

Learning Support Assistant, Term Time plus 3 days, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Grace College have an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our student support team.

The role of the Learning Support Assistant is to work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for students and to assist the teacher in the management of students and the classroom. We are looking for learning support staff who are passionate about supporting students, understand how to work with them to remove their barriers to learning and care deeply about seeing every student achieve their academic personal best.

We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.
