Overview

At Leader Education, we are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children within a SEND school catering to both primary and secondary students. This school is based in Ashington, Northumberland. The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have had previous experience working with young people and a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

Working pattern

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.

The successful Candidate will
  • Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
  • Ideally have experience in a classroom setting or have transferrable skills

  • Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working
