Job summary

Worthing SEN School is looking for dedicated staff to support pupils aged 5–16, with personal care and a DBS check. The role runs during term time with hours 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a campus-based setting near Worthing. A driving licence and access to a car are preferred due to transport needs.

Applicants must be able to comply with DBS requirements and bring transferable experience from care, social care, or education. Sponsorship or visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care or support for children aged 5–16.
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Full driving licence and own car or reliable access to transport.
• Transferable skills from care, social care or education.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to pupils during the school day.
• Support SEN pupils in class and during activities within a Worthing campus.
• Adhere to safeguarding and DBS requirements and school policies.
