Aspire is partnering with a warm and inclusive primary school in the M40 area of Manchester to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted support to pupils in 1:1 or small group settings, including SEND pupils.
  • Assist with delivering tailored learning activities set by the class teacher.
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and help build confidence and independence.
  • Assist with classroom routines, behaviour support, and general organization.
  • Help create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to support pupil progress.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a UK primary school within the last 2 years (essential).
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Strong communication skills, patience and a nurturing approach.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow guidance from teaching staff.
  • No formal teaching assistant qualification required.
