Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join a leading sixth form in Manchester on a temporary basis, working 4 days per week with ASAP start.

You will provide one-to-one educational support and personal care to a student, helping with daily activities, mobility and independence while collaborating with teachers, pastoral staff and families.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in a school or sixth-form setting is beneficial.
• Ability to provide personal care with dignity, privacy and independence.
• Reliable, calm and capable of adapting to changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day.
• Support the student to access lessons, activities and the wider sixth-form environment.
• Provide appropriate personal care and assistance with day-to-day needs, maintaining dignity and independence.
• Support with mobility, positioning and personal care routines where required.
• Encourage the student's independence and involvement in their own care and learning.
• Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral colleagues, families and relevant professionals.

Temporary Learning Support Assistant - Personal Care

Eden Brown are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a leading sixth form in Manchester on a temporary basis, working 4 days per week.

This is a rewarding role supporting a young person with their learning, wellbeing and day-to-day needs. The successful candidate will provide a combination of educational support and personal care, helping the student to participate fully in sixth-form life and develop their independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a student throughout the school day.
• Support the student to access lessons, activities and the wider sixth-form environment.
• Provide appropriate personal care and assistance with day-to-day needs, maintaining the students dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
• Support with mobility, positioning and personal care routines where required.
• Encourage the students independence and involvement in their own care and learning.
• Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral colleagues, families and relevant professionals.
