Job Description:

Morgan Hunt is working with a college in Maidenhead to hire a learning support assistant. Responsibilities include:

• Understanding and supporting students' EHC plans and working towards outcomes.
• Assisting in planning, delivering, and evaluating class activities.
• Supporting students inside and outside the classroom.
• Monitoring and supervising students and promoting positive behavior.
• Reporting on student performance and assisting with record keeping.
• Supporting students with equipment, exam preparation, and adapting learning materials.
• Helping students with reading, note-taking, and transcription.

Requirements:

• Key skills, communication, and ICT at level 2 (e.g., GCSE/O' level).
• Qualifications and experience working with students with learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in educational/support environments.
