Location: Tendring, Essex (Clacton, Harwich, Frinton & surrounding areas) Pay: £90 - £100 per day

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and proactive Learning Support Assistants to join our team. Whether you are an experienced TA, a recent graduate looking for school experience, or someone with a background in youth work, this is an excellent opportunity to make a tangible difference in the classroom.

The Role

As an LSA, you will be the bridge between the teacher and the students, ensuring that every child has the support they need to engage with the lesson.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working 1:1 or with small groups of students to support literacy, numeracy, and general learning.
• Helping to adapt tasks to suit individual learning styles.
• Supporting students with mild Special Educational Needs (SEND) or behavioural difficulties to stay focused and on task.
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom preparation and management.
• Building positive relationships with students to boost their confidence and self-esteem.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Previous experience working with children in schools is highly beneficial.
• Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential if you have the right attitude and experience.
• Personality: You must be patient, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively with young people.
• DBS: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one).
• Transport: Due to the spread of schools in the Tendring area, access to a vehicle is advantageous.
