Learning Support Assistant – 8:40am to 15:10pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (190 days). Grade 1 scale point 2, FTE £24,413, actual salary £16,160.26. To start: as soon as possible. We are excited to recruit an energetic, enthusiastic and caring person to support students with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan or who have significant learning difficulties across our Raising Achievement Centre. The role will provide support during lessons, small group work and 1:1 sessions, and is a challenging yet rewarding position that enables students to reach their full potential.

Experience is not necessary – training will be provided for the right person. The school is co-educational and will begin with Year 7 in September 2024, Year 8 in September 2025, and a co-educational Sixth Form. We have recently refurbished our subject block and classroom facilities, installed ViewSonic interactive screens, upgraded heating, technology and sporting facilities, and invested in a new indoor pool, sports hall and all-weather pitches. Our digital infrastructure includes Windows 11 across all computer suites and a robust security and accessibility system.

We have a positive Ofsted 2021 rating (Good) and a strong curriculum map, which supports above‑average student progress. Our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students is central, and all staff undergo Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service clearance.

All appointments are subject to safeguarding procedures and a professional interview panel focusing on suitability to work with children.
