Job summary

Unity Primary Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a dedicated REAch2 Academy Trust team. The role focuses on supporting learning, delivering small group or 1:1 activities, and creating an engaging, inclusive classroom environment for primary pupils.

We seek applicants committed to high standards, teamwork and safeguarding. The successful candidate will contribute to improving outcomes and supporting teachers in delivering effective lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
• - GCSEs English and Maths at grade C/4 or above are required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide class support and assist the class teacher in delivering learning.
• Support small groups or 1:1 activities to ensure curriculum access.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to delivering whole-class learning and bring activities to life.

We are looking for a highly skilled, dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Unity Primary Academy . You need to be committed to providing children with exceptional learning opportunities in a fun and caring environment, committed to teamwork, have a can-do attitude with a good sense of humor and be prepared to go that extra mile.

Providing class support, you should be experienced in working with children and adapting and extending learning within a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Working with the class teacher, you will be responsible for providing excellent learning opportunities for all which may require structured small group or 1:1 activities to ensure the curriculum is accessed by all. You should have experience of delivering whole class learning and an ability to bring learning to life so that children have practical hands on learning experiences that foster a real love of learning.

We are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and passion for providing the best outcome for all pupils, who:

• Has experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential)
• Hold GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
