A local primary school in Wales is seeking a support staff member to assist teachers and help pupils access learning. The position is part-time, with 17.5 hours per week, primarily during term time. Candidates should have a caring attitude and experience working with children. The role offers a salary between £25,583 and £26,403 pro rata based on qualifications.
Our school is a Community Primary School with a Nursery attached. We have a strong and supportive Board of Governors, which includes representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, parents, the local community and staff. We set very high standards across the school and offer a broad range of experiences and opportunities for our pupils. Our school is fortunate to be located in a lovely rural setting, surrounded by farm land, countryside and the coast. We serve the local village and MOD base at St Athan. The whole school community work in partnership to provide a bright, welcoming and stimulating learning environment to inspire and support our curriculum. We encourage an open door policy at St Athan Primary School and welcome parental involvements at all times. We value all our pupils and believe it is our responsibility to ensure their time in school is rewarding and fulfilling. Pay Details: Grade 4 £25,583 - £26,403 (Pro Rata) spinal point 5-7, £13.26 - £13.69 (Per Hour)
Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: 17.5 Hours per week / 39 weeks per year/ daily during term time (subject to change depending on the needs of the school)
