Northampton Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available Immediate Starts

Are you passionate about supporting young people and adults in education? Do you have the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic Further Education environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a leading FE College based in Northampton, who are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are committed to inclusive education and who can support learners across a wide range of courses and learning needs.

About the Role:

The college offers a diverse curriculum - from core academic subjects like Maths and English, to vocational and practical courses such as Horticulture, Animal Care, Construction, and Creative Arts. As an LSA, you'll be expected to adapt quickly, providing support in a variety of settings depending on the day's timetable.

You may be:

  • Supporting a student in a numeracy workshop in the morning
  • Assisting a learner with additional needs during a horticulture practical in the afternoon
  • Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support for students with EHCPs

This variety means no two days are the same - and we're looking for adaptive, proactive and empathetic individuals who can respond positively to that challenge.

Available Roles:
  • Full-Time - Monday to Friday
  • Part-Time (Option 1) - Monday, Tuesday, Friday
  • Part-Time (Option 2) - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Experience supporting young people or adults with SEND or additional needs (desirable but not essential)
  • A calm, compassionate and flexible approach
  • Willingness to work across a range of subjects and learning environments
  • A DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one via Tradewind Recruitment
