Job summary

Hungerford Primary Academy, in partnership with St Bart's Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join a caring, enthusiastic staff team. You will work with teachers to support teaching and learning, helping individuals or small groups within the classroom.

Qualifications

• Assist with planned learning activities under teacher guidance.
• Support pupils including those with SEN and EAL.
• Help monitor progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in the academy.

Responsibilities

• Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities as needed.
• Assist in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher and provide pupil progress feedback.
• Support the teacher in monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress/activities.
• Support pupils in social and emotional well-being and report issues to the teacher.
• Support the use of ICT in the curriculum and assist with classroom displays.
