Learning Support Assistant – Outstanding Secondary School

Location: Harrow, Greater London Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full‑Time, Long‑Term (Term Time Only) Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Dependant on experience)

Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a passionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a high‑achieving, OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' secondary school in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Inclusion Team starting in January 2026.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be the bridge between teaching and learning for students who need extra support. You will work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring they can access the curriculum and thrive in a mainstream setting.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups with literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Helping students with ASD, ADHD, or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs stay focused and engaged.
  • Adapting learning materials to make lessons accessible.
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor to build students' confidence and independence.
