Job summary

UCS College Group seeks a Learning Support Assistant to provide additional learning support across Cross College and Foundation Learning, assisting around 1000 students with diverse needs. The role contributes to equitable access to the curriculum and supports students through SEMH and other challenges.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff to deliver specialist services, In-class Support, exam access arrangements, assistive technology and mentoring as part of a broad support

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learners with additional needs and SEMH.
• Ability to work across College with diverse learners and staff.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and enabling full curriculum access.

Responsibilities

• Provide Specialist Teaching, Specialist Assignment Support and In-class Support for learners with a range of needs.
• Deliver Small Group Workshops and Equipment Support as required.
• Support Exam Access Arrangements and Assistive Technology, mentoring and counselling where appropriate.
