An educational institution in the UK is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to assist with teaching and learning in the Animal Management Department. The role involves supporting students in overcoming learning barriers and requires commitment to safeguarding children and young people. Working in a team under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and Lecturers you will assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). This may include supporting whole classes; working with individuals and small groups of learners; assisting with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities; working closely with pastoral and welfare staff in supporting students to overcome learning, physical or emotional boundaries.

£20,557 - £22,848 per annum, inc benefits. The role pays from G16 £20,556.53 up to G19 £22,847.79 (full-time equivalent being G16 £24,098 up to G19 £26,784).
