A supportive learning organization in Yate seeks a Learning Support Assistant to help students with Autism and ADHD. This role involves assisting in teaching, engaging with learners, and supporting their educational needs. Salary: Between £21,357 and £22,255.35 per annum, based on working 37.5 hours per week, term time only (39.6 weeks per year)

Every person deserves the chance to get an education. Some learners may need a little more help than others. That’s where you come in. As a learning Support Assistant, you’ll work with young people (Aged 16+) living with Autism, ADHD and other disabilities that impact their education.
Our curriculum isn’t like a mainstream college. We don’t focus as much on qualifications. The learning support you provide would be more focused on life skills, learning programmes, work experience, Maths and English skills, and other activities to enrich the learners’ experiences.
This college has between 5 and 7 learners in each class, so you’ll have the chance to really get to know the learners you support.
