Location: Whitby School and Sixth Form

Contract: Various contracts available

Hours/ Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Term time only

Salary/ Hourly Rate: Grade CD 3 - 6, £12.85 - £13.47 per hour + SEN allowance

Closing Date: 11:59pm Sunday 7th December 2025

Interviews: End of week commencing 8th / early week commencing 15th

Start Date: 6th January or as soon as possible

We are looking for a LSA who:

  • Will provide one‑to‑one, small group and in‑class support for students, under the direction of the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Co‑ordinator.
  • Will work confidently and empathetically with students who have a range of support needs, including physical, learning, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Has good literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills and experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • Has suitable experience working in a school environment and understands the importance of safeguarding children.
