An educational institution in Nuneaton is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join its friendly team. This role involves supporting young adults with learning difficulties, providing assistance for teaching and learning. Candidates should have level 2 qualifications in English and Maths and experience in educational settings. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. Based primarily at our Nuneaton site, you will be working with young adults who have a wide range of learning difficulties, providing support for teaching, learning and assessment. You will play a vital role in enabling our students to achieve to their maximum potential, preparing them for adulthood and independent living.
Support teachers and learning facilitators in the delivery of lessons and planning of learning materials. Work with students to develop independence and confidence. Work alongside the wider teaching and support team to assess student progress.
English and Maths at level 2 or above (e.g., GCSE Grade 4/C or above, Functional Skills Level 2). Experience working with young adults with learning difficulties and behaviours of concern, with a minimum of level 2 qualifications in English and Maths. Confident, organised, and able to work in a busy environment.
