Overview

Supporting learners as a Learning Support Assistant with Dovetail and Slate in partnership with over 200 UK colleges. No formal teaching qualifications are required, just a genuine enthusiasm for supporting learners in their education journey.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑to‑one and group support to students with additional learning needs.
  • Assist teachers and lecturers in creating an inclusive learning environment for SEN students.
  • Safeguard vulnerable learners.
  • Work flexible full‑time or part‑time, and term‑time only roles are available.
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification or higher in English or Maths.
  • Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
  • Experience working with SEN children or young adults, or an extensive care background.
  • Knowledge of additional learning needs.
  • Up‑to‑date safeguarding training or willingness to obtain one.
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain.
