Protocol Education is working in collaboration with a well-regarded and inclusive primary school in Redbridge, to recruit a dedicatedLearning Support Assistantfor a September 2025 start. This is a valuable opportunity for an individual who is committed to supporting children with additional needs and contributing to their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated and inclusive lessons
  • Support the learning and emotional needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Contribute to classroom preparation, organisation, and effective learning environments
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement and participation

Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in SEN or mainstream settings
  • A calm, supportive, and proactive approach to working with children
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Protocol Education)
