Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support in KS2 at a Newham primary school. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver targeted interventions and create an inclusive learning environment.

The role focuses on supporting a pupil with additional learning needs, assisting with emotional regulation, and contributing to a positive, collaborative school culture. Immediate start and a temporary contract through July are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
• Comfortable working one-to-one with a pupil.
• Capable of supporting class teacher and SENCo as part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs.
