Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in local Farnham, Godalming, Guildford and Surrey schools. You'll help create an engaging, inclusive learning environment and support children with a range of additional needs.

You'll primarily provide 1:1 support and small-group assistance, encourage participation in lessons, and work with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and families to track pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Support pupils with ASC, MLD/SLD, SLCN, SEMH and physical/complex needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support during lessons.
• Promote communication, independence and confidence.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning by providing tailored support throughout the school day. Working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff, you'll help create an engaging, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every pupil can succeed.

You'll be supporting pupils with a variety of needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Physical disabilities and complex learning needs
