Job summary

A leading further education provider in Bromley is seeking a full-time Learning Resource Centre Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to students and staff across Learning Centres, primarily at Bromley and Orpington sites. About the role

You will be working in the Learning Centre supporting students and staff in all aspects of the use of the Learning Centres across mainly our Bromley and Orpington sites. Provide study skills and information retrieval skills support, and accessibility technology support. Support the development of and deliver study skills sessions (one to one or groups) and research, develop and maintain resources. Contribute to the development of e-learning strategies and resources. Promote the service with students and staff. Identify and respond to curriculum needs. The role will be full time 37 hours a week over 38 weeks.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a library environment or familiar with working in a learning support role. To be successful in this role, you\'ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others. You\'ll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with strong digital skills, sound administration skills and preferably have experience of using Library Management Systems.
