Job summary

Royal Museums Greenwich seeks a dynamic, schools-focused programme lead to inspire learners across National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House. You will develop, deliver and resource enquiry-based programmes from early years to post-16, building strong relationships with teachers and partners while ensuring an inclusive, engaging learning experience across sites.

The role is full-time and permanent, with core hours 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, and flexible hybrid working to support delivery of

Qualifications

• Proven track record of engaging children and young people with museum collections.
• Understanding of needs of school learners and teachers.
• Effective time management and strong written/verbal presentation skills.
• Experience with sensitive topics related to empire and the transatlantic slave trade.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of historical enquiry programmes for schools.
• Nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure audience voice is embedded in activities and learning sessions.
• Shape onsite and digital learning sessions during service changes.
