A leading education recruitment agency is looking for a Level 3/HLTA Senior Learning Mentor in Manchester to lead learning sessions and support behavior management in a secondary PRU. This role requires the ability to deliver tailored academic interventions and mentor junior staff. Ideal candidates will hold an HLTA qualification and possess strong communication skills, with opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment. The daily rate is between £100 and £120. Potential candidates must also be committed to safeguarding children.

Contract: Full‑time Daily Rate: £100 – £120 per day
Our secondary PRU in Manchester (M21) is seeking a Level 3/HLTA Senior Learning Mentor to lead learning sessions, support behaviour, and contribute to the wider development of the unit.
Morning check‑ins: “How are you doing today?” “What do you need?”
Small classes (4–8 pupils) with flexible lessons to support emotional regulation
Behaviour coaching: managing emotions, resolving conflict, and re‑engaging with activities
Targeted interventions: anger‑management sessions, social skills work, mentoring conversations, tailored academic support
Teamwork: staff support each other constantly, radios and shared de‑escalation strategies keep the day running smoothly
Moments that matter: small victories, seeing confidence grow week by week
