A leading educational organization in the UK is looking for a Learning Mentor to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role involves working closely with pupils to encourage independence and social skills, along with providing tailored one-to-one and group support. Candidates must have experience with SEND and relevant qualifications in Childcare. Competitive pay and professional development support are offered, along with a strong commitment to safeguarding children's welfare.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting children with a variety of additional needs, ensuring they can access learning and reach their full potential. You will provide both one-to-one and small group support, tailoring your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil. A big part of the role will also be encouraging independence and developing social skills, helping pupils to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
This SEND school delivers high-quality, inclusive education that celebrates each child’s individuality. The school’s core values—integrity, responsibility, compassion, collaboration, challenge, and respect—underpin everything they do.
If you are enthusiastic, supportive and ready to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you!
