  • Salary: £31,357 - £33,699 pro rata (£28,378 - £30,323 per annum)

The Position

The role of the Learning Mentor is to engage vulnerable or challenging pupils in their learning through the provision of high-quality early intervention that impacts positively on pupil welfare, attendance, progress, and behaviour. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and delivering targeted learning interventions for individuals and small groups to accelerate progress, requiring them to lead these interventions, take groups, and at times, manage the whole class. Additionally, the Learning Mentor provides short-term, planned whole class cover during teacher absence to ensure continuity of learning, and offers general support and assistance to the principal.
