Manorside Academy is seeking a Learning Mentor to support high-quality teaching and learning under the guidance of teachers. You will assist pupils, including those with SEND and EAL, to access learning and build confidence, independence and resilience.

Join a diverse, inclusive environment with a collaborative team and a strong focus on wellbeing, behaviour management, and supporting the wider school community.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people thrive, providing cover in the absence of teaching staff, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our academy and on the lives of the students we serve. The role will also involve to the ongoing development of the department and the wider school community. We are looking for a collaborative professional who is dedicated to high standards, and who will play an active part in the continued success of the school.

As a Learning Mentor you will work closely with and under the guidance of teachers to support high- quality teaching and learning, to help students remain engaged and to achieve their full potential.

You will support a diverse range of learners, including pupils with SEND and those with English as an additional language (EAL), helping them to access learning whilst promoting confidence, independence and resilience. Working alongside your colleagues, you will contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive and succeed.

You will contribute to maintaining a calm, focused learning environment and support effective behaviour management. Your patience, adaptability, and proactive approach will help ensure all pupils can achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
