Overview

Job Title: Learning Facilitator (Temporary Cover)
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £13.10 – £13.75 per hour
Start Date: ASAP (subject to vetting and enhanced DBS clearance)
End Date: Ongoing, potentially until 19/12/2025

Role Overview

Our client based in Solihull is seeking a proactive Learning Facilitator to provide temporary cover. This role focuses on delivering digital onboarding, supporting learners and staff with Microsoft365 tools, and encouraging effective use of learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver face-to-face onboarding and training sessions for staff and students.
  • Provide support on the use of Microsoft365 applications (e.g., Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
  • Assist learners in accessing and using digital platforms and online resources.
  • Work effectively with learners, helping them develop digital confidence.
  • Explain digital tools clearly to non-specialist users.
  • Collaborate as part of a supportive team within a busy open-plan environment.
  • Keep accurate records of training and support provided.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience delivering training or onboarding in person.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft365 tools and ability to train others.
  • Background in digital skills, computing, or IT training is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with young learners.
  • Able to remain calm and organised under pressure.
  • Willing to travel to a second campus one day per week.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, open-plan office.
Additional Information
  • This is a temporary assignment the duration is subject to regular review.
