A prominent housing provider is seeking a Learning Disability Worker in Ryde, Isle of Wight. The role involves providing quality care for adults with learning disabilities and maintaining their independence. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and various employee benefits.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for providing quality services to adults with learning disabilities to join our team at our registered care home in Ryde, Isle of Wight.
Please note this is a full time role working 35 hours per week. Working on a rota basis (including weekends and sleep-ins).
As a Learning Disability Worker, you’ll have a hands‑on approach to caring for our residents, working as part of a team to support people to maintain independence and have better opportunities to get involved within the local community. This is a truly rewarding role where you’ll play many parts within our residents’ lives.
