A leading children’s care provider in Long Eaton is seeking dynamic youth mentors to positively influence the lives of young people with learning disabilities. Candidates should have experience with Autism and ADHD, alongside a manual driving license. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary up to £34,048 annually, along with various benefits such as a company pension, generous annual leave, and funded training opportunities. Commitment to child welfare and safety is essential.
Our normal shift patterns are on a rolling Rota basis and our shift working hours are: 08.00am‑23.00pm per shift, which means days of working can vary from week to week. Sleep‑in shifts are required. All applicants must have a valid manual UK/EU Driving License.
We are looking for dynamic youth mentors who have a desire to engage, guide and bring a positive influence in the lives of the young people in our care. You will be looking after Young People with mild to moderate learning disabilities, so experience working with Autism, ADHD and non‑verbal and knowledge of Makaton or PECs is desirable. Training and qualifications will be provided but the most important quality we are looking for is a commitment and a desire to bring about a positive change in the lives of young people.
