We are looking for a Deputy Support Manager to join our supported living locations across Berkshire, supporting adults with learning disabilities and Autism to live their life their way.

What we do matters so we are looking for someone with a strong track record of sector-based experience. This role will be crucial in ensuring we can continue our goal of making a difference every day to those we support.

This is a permanent full-time role, initially covering maternity leave for 6-9 months across Newbury, with potential for the position to move across to our Oxfordshire locations after this period. For internal purposes the contracted job title for this role will be Deputy Support Manager.

What will you do?

As a Deputy Support Manager you will assist in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality, safe and person-centred support.

  • You will foster excellent working relationships amongst all teams, families, professionals, referrers, and all other stakeholders.
  • Assist the Support Manager to improve the support people receive, identifying meaningful opportunities for involvement of people we support in shaping their life, their home and inputting into the organisation.
  • Lead by example and provide hands on support to people we support when required.
  • Deputise for the Support Manager in their absence and be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the organisation.
