Job Title: Learning & Development Trainer

Location: Home-based with travel across Reading, Crawley, Guildford, and Basingstoke

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9-5 (hybrid/flexible working)

About Us

At Outcomes First Group, we believe every child can thrive when given the right environment for success. As one of the world’s leading providers in our sector, we deliver exceptional, research-led education tailored to each individual, with smaller class sizes and personalised learning plans.

The Role

As a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality training and development solutions across our regional services, both virtually and face‑to‑face. You will share specialist knowledge, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure that training makes a real difference to staff performance and outcomes for the children and young people we support.

This role requires travel across to one of our key locations: Reading, Crawley, Guildford, and Basingstoke, so a willingness to travel is essential.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver engaging, high‑quality training to diverse audiences using adult learning principles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional service leads and colleagues.
  • Work with the L&D Content team to develop and improve training materials.
  • Track attendance and complete training administration accurately using the LMS.
  • Share your expertise to improve training programmes and outcomes.
  • Support L&D projects and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Lead, manage, or participate in performance review processes as required.
  • Work in line with company policies, Health & Safety standards, and safeguarding regulations.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience delivering training to diverse audiences (as a trainer, facilitator, teacher, or similar).
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and ability to embed these in training delivery.
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships and exceed customer expectations.
  • CIPD qualification or Award in Education and Training (minimum Level 3) or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel for face‑to‑face training delivery.
  • Experience in education or school‑based settings.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted and ISI standards/regulations.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle (or alternative travel arrangements).
