A UK university is seeking a proactive Learning Development Manager to coordinate delivery of academic support. Birmingham Newman University is seeking a proactive and student-focused Learning Development Manager to coordinate and lead the delivery of academic and study skills support across the institution. This key role sits within the Student Success team and works closely with academic departments to embed support into and around the curriculum. The postholder will lead group workshops, provide expert 1:1 learning support, and develop a suite of digital resources to enhance student learning and confidence. A central aspect of the role is working with students identified as retention risks or those capable of achieving higher grades with targeted support—contributing directly to the University's Retention Framework.
